By An Act Of Parliament  And Upon The Advice Of My Privy Council 
The People Of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland ANd Tasmania, 

Humbly Relying On The Blessing Of Almighty God

Have Agrred To Unite IN One Dissoluble Federal Commonwealth  Under The Crown Of The United Kingdom; The Crown Colonies Of New South Wales, Vitctoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, And If Her Majesty Is Satisfied; The Colony Of Western Australia Shall Unite In One Dissoluble Federation Under The Crown After An Act Constituting The Commonwealth Of Australia Enacted Not More Than One Year From The Date Of Proclamation Dated 9th July 1900 and Letters Patent Constituting And Appointing The Governor General Of The Said Commonwealth 9th October 1900.
